The transplant team at Baylor Annette C. and Harold C.
Simmons Transplant Institute continued their steadfast
commitment in 2016 to investigating new approaches
to treatment including revolutionary pharmaceutical
solutions and industry-leading surgical treatments. In
fact, transplant team specialists and researchers sponsored
or participated in more than 51 research studies and
74 clinical trials during the year.
A total of 22 Baylor
Dallas researchers had
81 manuscripts published
in medical and scientific
journals in 2016.
In April 2016, Baylor
hosted an international
conference on Antibody
Mediated Rejection in Liver
Transplantation, Part II.
