ISLE
We are the first center in Texas to receive FDA permission
to process pancreatic islet cells for transplantation,
and the first hospital in the southwest to perform both
allo and auto islet cell transplantation from our own
lab for type 1 diabetes patients and chronic pancreatitis
patients. In 2016, our specialists continued their
groundbreaking work.
