The liver transplant programs at Baylor Dallas and
Baylor Scott & White – Fort Worth grew significantly
in 2016. A combined total of 144 liver transplants were
performed, 17 of which were living donor transplants.
This placed the program in the top tier of liver transplant
centers in the nation in terms of volume of procedures,
with a 31 percent increase in growth from 2014 to 2016.
It was a momentous, innovative and rewarding year.
