The Music For Maryland Summer Tour Begins Performing in All 24 Jurisdictions in Three Years
Mark your calendars for a summer of music ! This year , the BSO launches a three-year initiative to showcase the Orchestra as one that belongs to the entire State of Maryland .
Year one will bring the Orchestra to Garrett County , Carroll County ( Carroll Community College Amphitheater ), Calvert County ( PNC Waterside Pavilion at the Calvert Marine Museum ), Kent County ( Wilmer Park ), Howard County ( Merriweather Post Pavilion ), and Prince George ’ s County ( National Harbor ).
The BSO also looks forward to sharing music this summer close to home with performances at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall , The Music Center at Strathmore , and Oregon Ridge Park .
