The search for the next Music Director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra continues , with numerous potential candidates on the podium for the Classical series . There are names that you will recognize , and seven potential candidates make their BSO debuts . EXTRAORDINARY GUEST ARTISTS
In the 40 th anniversary of the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall , the season opens with a Gala event like no other . In his final season as Principal Pops Conductor , the beloved Jack Everly leads the Gala concert and a star-studded Pops season highlighting his favorite works from Broadway to Ballet to the Beatles . On the Classical series , renowned guest artists include violinists Joshua Bell and Augustin Hadelich , and pianists Stewart Goodyear , Michelle Cann , Khatia Buniatishvili , and Isata Kanneh-Mason . Plus , American operatic soprano Angel Blue makes her BSO debut . BSO Fusion , the genre crossover series from Steve Hackman , returns for a second season .
