The 2024-25 season is only building on the incredible momentum of Jonathon ’ s first season . Artistic programming includes a multi-year opera initiative , the arrival of our new Composer in Residence , the centering of jazz , and a series of concertos for orchestra and BSO concerto soloists . We continue to tackle big projects , including the future of the Cathedral Street Garage , as well as an institution-wide goal to activate the Meyerhoff as a “ Hall for All ” on many more days and nights . Perhaps most importantly , we have entered the fifth and final year of an historic five-year collective bargaining agreement with great alignment across all stakeholder groups ( musician , management , board , and more ) behind our mission , our long-term goals , and our near-term position . With your continued support , and with Jonathon at the artistic helm , we can realize these shared goals and ensure the BSO becomes America ’ s undeniable example of a cherished , widely relevant , and inventive symphony .
With great optimism and enthusiasm for all that is to come , we invite you to join us in reflecting on the year concluded across the following pages with great pride .
