Every Monday , we will celebrate our many extraordinary accomplishments with Marin Alsop , including the founding of BSO OrchKids , numerous recordings on Naxos Records , and an international tour .

BSO FY2020 FINANCIAL RESULTS NOW AVAILABLE
The BSO has been on a journey . As we shared in our 2019-20 Year in Review , early financial forecasts for FY2020 ( ended August 31 , 2020 ) reflected that journey including the impact of COVID-19 on programming , as well as the extraordinary philanthropic support raised in response to turnaround efforts and multi-year plans .
We are pleased to share that our FY2020 Audited Financial Results are now finalized and reflect the BSO ’ s first positive operating results in over a decade ! Collectively , the resulting cash balance reflects Transformation Fund intentions to support implementation of strategic initiatives for over two years of our five-year plan . Though the BSO has experienced tremendous support from our community , our continuous fundraising efforts are just as important now as we enter a new era for the BSO .
