ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVES
The only major American Orchestra founded as a part of its municipality, the BSO has a special bond and commitment to the communities we serve.
In May, leaders from the City and the State came together to create a weeklong celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Preakness. On May 14, the BSO joined in a special waterfront concert headlined by Club Quarantine 5 Live with DJ D-Nice and friends, conducted by Igmar Thomas at the Pier Six Pavillion.
