A A M & B G The ASLA Annual Meeting and Expo Featured speakers include Scott Doty, ASLA and Michele Folts, ASLA Boston Society of Landscape Architects (BSLA) is thrilled to culminate our Chapter’s Centennial Anniversary by rolling out the welcome mat as the Host Chapter for the 2013 American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Annual Meeting and Expo on November 15-18. Many members of the Chapter have devoted countless hours of time and effort to help the ASLA make this event a memorable, and professionally and personally rewarding for the anticipated 6,000+ fellow professionals expected to visit. We are proud to call the Boston and New England landscape our home. Design to reconnect with the fundamental elements of design.” To help the ASLA fulfill these goals, the BSLA Chapter has whole-heartedly taken on the Host Chapter responsibilities identified by the ASLA with the momentum of a large and enthusiastic members group. In addition the BSLA has committed to more host-like activities than required to provide our own touches of Boston based hospitality. Five committees have been organized to fulfill the Chapter’s commitment to provide a great experience to all attendees. They include: The ASLA/ACE Mentor Legacy Project, development and cultivation of Educational Field Sessions, Host & Hospitality Booth and informational services, local Public Relations functions, and Special Events.
