BSLA Fieldbook Editorial Team
With a grand total of one issue under our belt,
the Fieldbook Editorial Team set about building on what was learned and improving this
second issue. A key decision was to continue with
information and updates pertinent to the BSLA
operations and accomplishments since it became
clear to us the first Fieldbook was being saved
and used as a reference for Chapter information
and the advertisers.
Of course, this issue would also honor our new
Fellows, the BSLA Award winners, scholarship
winners – and this year – those Boston area
colleagues who were recipients of prestigious
ASLA Awards.
We also set out to create a focus for
the articles and selected preservation,
history and vernacular landscapes.
Two articles are written by BSLA members and
each takes a different aspect of the topic. Sam
