Alex Cassini
Harvard Graduate School of Design , MLA ‘ 17
Alexander is currently a second year Masters of Landscape Architecture student at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design . Originally from France , Alexander ’ s passion for landscapes and cities emerged after growing up in the countryside along the Loire River yet being in close proximity to an urban center . After completing his Bachelor of Urban Planning at the University of Cincinnati , he concluded that cities and their inhabitants need landscape architects as much as they do urbanists in order to design compelling environments for social and cultural interactions to flourish . Through many of his projects , he seeks to engage people with specific landscapes and experiences that affect their health , perception of the world , and overall wellbeing whether in an urban or rural context .
