Meet Roberta Nolan

R
oberta Nolan, Ed.D., C.B.P.P., came on board to the Bryn
Athyn College admissions staff in the spring of 2016.
Originally hired as director of admissions, Ro-
berta has since earned the title of dean of admis-
sions and enrollment management. In the time
since joining the BAC team, she has shepherded
in two freshman classes, which have brought
with them increasingly higher academic profiles.
Known on campus as a calm, kind administrator
with a boatload of wit and charm, Roberta comes
from a background of service and hard work that
dovetails seamlessly with the Bryn Athyn College
maxim, “Think for yourself; live for others.” Even
from an early age Roberta was interested in edu-
cation, and the theme has carried through over a
long and successful career.
As a little girl growing up in Philadelphia, Ro-
berta would visit family in New Brunswick, New
Jersey, and in order to get there they would drive
through Princeton. She remembers feeling drawn
to the place, and one day she told her mother that
she wanted to be a student there. Her mother had
