What do you want to tell the world
about Coach McGill? Coach McGill
was definitely a no brainer on my
decision on this. I have never in my
educational career had a teacher teach
me like he did. Even as a coach, he has
taught me more about life than I could of
asked for. He’s taught me about
commitment, how to work hard, face
adversity, love to struggle, have patience
for success, and to always trust in God’s
plan for me. He has helped mold me into
the man I am today and I am ever so
thankful for it.

Admire Most: What I admire most about
him was his faith in God. I had never been
around a person so openly honest about his
beliefs but never to a point that he forced
it upon you. I remember the first time I met
the man he offered to pray for me and talk
about my studies in the Bible at the time.
Not that I was always completely honest
about if I was genuinely studying the book
at the time, however, his persistence in his
questions motivated me into not wanting
to disappoint him and actually studying
it. However, this topic wasn’t just limited
to me, he acted this way to every single
person or group of people he ran into. He
acted the exact same in front of people as
he did by himself and that too is what made
me so fond of him.
Favorite Memory: My favorite memories
would definitely be in the weight room. It
took a lot of self-generated energy and
corny jokes to get us going at 6 in the
morning and 5 days a week. So I would
have to either give it to the famous Joe
Mama jokes or the never-before-heard-
of authentic Irish Rock that he would
have us jam out to.
