What do you want to tell the world about this student?
Olivia is an old soul. She is smart and creative and sees things
in the world that others her age don’t. She feels deeply and this
will be a great asset in a world where empathy and
compassion seem in short supply. I am amazed by her ability
to look at complex issues in a new way. When she is feeling
confident, she is a force to be reckoned with and shows a work
ethic and determination that blows me away.
Favorite Memory: The first time I met Olivia she was
performing a monologue for an audition. She was so young,
an 8th grader, all awkward and unsure when you talked to her.
But when she performed, it was like watching a light bulb turn
on. She was on fire and she showed a maturity well beyond her
years. I was immediately impressed with her and knew she was
something special.

Olivia, I hope you find a way to harness your brains, your
work ethic, and your big emotions and make them work
together because when you do, you will have to ability to do
anything you want. I can see you leading the way to make
changes in the world. I can see you moving well beyond our
little community to take on the challenges that face us in the
years to come. You have the ability to do so many things. It
starts with you and the work you put in on yourself. You can’t
get lazy. You can’t just give up when things hurt or get too
hard. You have to take care of you and do the work on
yourself to be strong and to be the leader I know you are.
That is the foundation of so many wonderful things to come.
I believe in you and love you very much. - Mrs. Rogers
