What do you want to tell the world about this student?
Michael is, to quote The Replacements, HEART! “Miles and
miles of heart”. I have known Michael since my family came
to Brownsboro three years ago, and during this time I have
seen him grow into the individual he is today. He is One
Unique Soul who never allows any person to go without
being unattended. His determination to be who he chooses
to be is unrivaled, and his accomplishments are only
challenged by his own personal limitations.
Favorite Memory: Back in 2017, a new family had arrived
to the Brownsboro area, and this family had two new
students to the district. As every new student may be, the
two wondered what was to come, and how they would
handle the situation. Coming from a big town to a little
town is nothing close of being the same. The oldest of the
two students came in as a Sophomore, and the other as
an eight grader. Michael, without skipping a beat, showed
compassion to the oldest, and befriended her as if she had
always been part of Brownsboro High School. A year later,
when the younger student arrived as a Freshman, once
again, Michael made sure that this student felt welcomed.
Having taken cross country together, they formulated a
warm friendship. This was a friendship to never be
forgotten.
