What do you want to tell the world about this student? Lily is an extremely talented young woman and a great leader. She has the God given talents to accomplish whatever she sets her mind to do, and has proven that throughout the time that I was privileged to be her teacher. Lily is also a compassionate and caring individual willing to help her friends and the organizations she is involved in beyond what most people would or are required to do. I would give Lily my highest recommendation to anyone who asked. I look forward to see the success she will bring. Class of 2020 Lily Pike Lily plans to attend UT Tyler and become a theatre teacher. Favorite Memory: My favorite memories of Lily are in the classroom and on the band field. She always stood out from other students leading by example. She not only strove for perfection in how she handled herself, but had the great ability to share her skills with her peers. She always led by setting high goals and standards for herself and all around her. Lily, I pray that you will find success, happiness, and love in all you do. I am extremely proud of you and all you have accomplished. I watched from a distance this year as you led the band. Physically I could not be there, but I prayed daily for you. You did a great job! I know you will find success in your life! - Mr. Russell What do you want to tell the world about Mr. Russell? Mr. Russell really did care about his students. He wanted what was best for them and if it wasn’t for him, I wouldn’t have tried out to be Drum Major. I would have quit band, but he convinced me to stay. Favorite Memory: My junior year at a football game I taught him how to floss (the dance move) and one of the next games we had a flossing man as a part of our half time show. Admire Most: He always tried his hardest to do what was best for us and it really means a lot. He still helps with the band and I really do appreciate it. I miss you Mr. Russell! I’ll tell the world... “Get a job in high school. Having money and not having to ask for it is so nice.”
