what makes it even greater is when she is also on

top in the classroom. Meet 2016 Pebblebrook graduate Madison Barnett. Madison was a four-year letter-winner and was named the 2015 Cobb County "Player of the Year". She was a part of regional and sectional championships, taking home medalist honors in both, during the 2015 season. She also earned All-Cobb County and All-State honors over her first three seasons and was a member of the PGA Junior League. A tournament victory came in the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour's 2014 Orchard Hills Junior Classic with back-to-back rounds of 71 to win by three. She was top-five in the American Junior Golf Association's E-Z Go Vaughn Taylor Championship and the North-South Junior Invitational. If that wasn't enough, Madison qualified for the USGA's Women's Four-Ball Championship and wrapped up a pair of starts in 2014 and 2015 and was top-ten during the Georgia State Golf Association's Girls Championship .

After graduation while attending Wofford (2016-17) she played in eight events for the Terriers totaling 20 rounds with a 78.45 stroke average. She finished 11th overall at the 2017 Southern Conference Championship. Madison's best round of her freshman season came with an even par 72 at the Bill Berg Invitational in October 2016 . Twelve(12) of her 20 rounds were registered in the 70's .

Madison took her skills on to UNC Charlotte in her Sophomore year. After capping off their inaugural season with a ninth place finish in the Conference USA Championship with her Charlotte 49ers team, Madison ended her season with a total of 28 rounds for a total of 2172 with an average of 77.57 and a par of +6.
