onya Richards-Ross, Allyson Felix and Carmelita
Jeter are among some of the great female runners
in the United States. I'm going to add Pebblebrook graduate Bryana Robinson. Bryana graduated in 2014 and finished her senior year ranking ninth nationally in the indoor 200m and 13th in the indoor 400m.
She holds Pebblebrook records in the 100m, 200m
and 400m individually and as part of the
4x100m and 4x400m relays. And if that
wasn't enough, she was county and region
champion in the 100m and state runner-up
in the 100m and 200m events.
Now a Senior at University of Cincinnati,
Bryana is still setting records. Coming off
a very dominant 2017 season in which
she swept the 400m dash titles at the
AAC meets while helping the Bearcats
sweep both 4x400m relays and add
a title in the 4x100m outdoors as well.
She then helped the 4x400m relay
team not only qualify for the NCAA
Finals for the first time in program
history, but also earn USTFCCCA
All-America Second Team honors
by finishing 15th overall, marking
the first relay All-America honors
earned in program history.
Bryana is a member of three
school record relay teams,
including the indoor 4x400m
(3:40.13), the outdoor 4x400m
(3:35.96) and the outdoor
4x100m (44.33), all of which
were recorded in 2017. She
individually, holds the
school’s indoor 400m
record (53.52) and ranks
in the Top 3 in two other
indoor events, including
#2 in the 300m (39.00)
and #3 in the 200m (24.16).
Outdoors she ranks #2 in
the 400m (53.15) and #7
in the 200m (24.23).
