It's no secret that Cobb County is filled with great athletes. But the talent in Pebblebrook's basketball program is unparalleled.

With four of it's starting players graduating in May, the varsity team has a few slots open. However, they won't have to look very far. The junior varsity team has some outstanding players just waiting to get into the action.

With a regular season closing record of 15-2 overall and a regional record of 7-0 the JV team went into the championship rounds on a 10 game winning streak. They brought home the win and a boat load of confidence that they'll be taking into the next season. Not too shabby for a starting lineup full of freshmen. The Brook's Freshman team also did well and pulled in a second place in the championship.

As if the talent at the high school level wasn't enough, just down the road our Jr. Falcons made a few waves in the Cobb County Junior Basketball Conference. The 7th grade team were the conference champs beating out Campbell 40-35 at the Cobb Civic Center. Kanaan "K9" Carlyle was named the MVP and was selected to the 2018 CCJBC All Tournament team. The 8th grade team pulled in the #2 spot after falling to Langston Hughes.

It looks like the future of the Falcons is in good hands with these young players.
