opened at 6 p.m. but many students at Pebblebrook High School had been waiting with their friends since 3:31 p.m. when the bell rang to release them from classes for the day. They, along with supporters from the community, were in line for the much anticipated "Falcon Midnight Madness" event, which kicks off the Falcon basketball season. The Falcons took on the Osborn Cardinals in this seasonal exhibition game. For some students, it was their first time at the event. But for upperclassmen and the staff, the anticipation was in seeing how well the new team played together.
The Falcons have had phenomenal success winning a total of 126 games and posted over 12,000 points since Coach George Washington took the reigns in the 2012-13 season.

One of the big questions among some supporters was "What will life be like for the Falcons after Collin Sexton?" Well the answer to that is...They haven't missed a beat. So far this season they're 19-2 holding the number one spot in the region and the number two spot in the state. They're on a 17 game winning streak and are proving that they're a force to be reckoned with. “People thought we wouldn’t be good this year, but we pass and share the ball like a good team should," senior Forward Mervin James told a Marietta Daily Journal reporter earlier this season. "We have a lot of unselfish guys, and we have good shooters.”
Pebblebrook supprters have a lot of faith in the Falcon men's basketball team and it's coaching staff and believe that they'll do well until the end.
