The first round inductees into the 2018 Pebblebrook Hall of Fame are (drum roll please)…Jalicia Bass and Tyler Thomas. These two students have not only shown exemplary athletic skills but they also excel academically. It is an honor to cast a spotlight on students with such bright futures as these.

Jalicia Bass is the little engine that did. Standing at 5’0" and weighting 100 pounds, this firecracker averages 12 points per game, 2 assists, 3 rebounds and shoots 98% from the free throw line. She creates a backbone for the team that is clearly standing up straight.

Jalicia embodies the fight the Falcons need to stick and move their way up the ranks. Jalicia has been a starting Point Guard since her freshman year at Pebblebrook.. She did not acquire these skills overnight,. She started playing basketball when she was 3-years-old and continued when she enrolled at Lindley Middle School. It was there where she sharpened her skills as a starting point guard.

"Good things come in small packages," says Coach William Jones, head coach of the Junior Varsity Boys basketball team. "She has incredible energy, she works hard is fearless on the court." Her coach Brittny Jones describes her as a great leader. "She is one of a few of players that I have coached that has a tremendous amount of skill," she stated. "Definitely the making of a great leader."

Jalicia's consistent play continues to make Pebblebrook relevant among the standing.
