Why Not?
When asked by Recruit Georgia what made him an outstanding collegiate athlete, 2018 Aquantis Sajna replied, "My passion and love for the game,My ability to deliver crushing blows on both sides of the ball and also the class room work I put in."
Standing 6'0" and weighing 190 pounds, the high school athlete models himself after Russell Westbrook and adopted the motto "Why Not?" He says Russell shows his tenacity and will to win at any cost. Sajna is definitely a winner. He was named to the All-Region team in 2015 and 2016 and was named the Defensive Player of the Year for this 2017 season.
Sajna hopes to continue his football career and education close to home at the University of West Georgia or Valdosta State from which he has already received a scholarship offer.
And for the seniors coming in to take over his positions, he says, "Stay focused, this is your last year. It's going to go by fast but you're going to enjoy it."
