Upon first meeting senior Tyler Thomas, one would describe him as, laid back and soft spoken...until he starts to talk about football that is.

He's been playing football since he was about five-years-old and he says the highlight of his career was when the Falcons won a critical game against East Coweta. In this game, where he earned the Cobb Football Friday Athlete of the Week, Tyler rushed for 135 yards with 18 carries. He also had three receptions that included a 28 yard touchdown.

In his last season as a high school player, he says the advice that he would give to the athlete coming into his position would be to be diligent and show good leadership on and off the field. Although he's been called the champ, the humble teenager doesn't think of himself that way. He says he just loves to play the game.
