Meet: Joni Jackson – Fletcher
The Woods Assisted Living and At Home Care
Doing what I do I
have
the
wonderful
opportunity to meet a wide
variety of people and more
often than not I’m amazed.
This was definitely one of those times. Joni is the
executive director of The Woods Assisted Living
and The Woods at Home Care. She is responsible
for the running and the care of the facility. In
speaking with her it’s very clear as to why she was
chosen for her position. Joni is such a beautiful
soul. When speaking about her position at the
facility, the love and compassion she has for her
residents truly radiates from within. She is such a
compassionate woman. Her love of God, her family
and the ones she is charged to care for makes me
proud to know that we have a unique opportunity
here in our community to be able to trust the care of
our loved ones to someone who will truly ensure
that they are taken care of as her own. If you get the
chance drop by The Woods and meet this lady for
yourself, I promise you will be glad you did.
Thank you Joni for all you do!
Meet: Tim Perez
“The Atlanta Tough Guy”
Tim is definitely an interesting
character in more ways than
one… and stuff…lol.
Tim is a professional pilot,
flight instructor, retired Army
infantry officer, combat pilot,
actor, leader, business professional and mentor.
Tim’s stories of inspiration and motivation are
based off of his experiences growing up, while
overcoming belonging to gangs, drug use,
alcoholism and a troubled youth, to becoming a
highly educated successful military leader, career
pilot, and many other accomplishments. But more
importantly, Tim draws off of his myriad of
accomplishments, education, and life's challenges to
do motivational speaking through his program
called "Fired Up". He speaks to youth groups,
schools, churches, community programs, and
businesses, but is open to other types of
engagements. Currently Tim volunteers with the
Horses and Warriors program at the Hampton
Calvin Center. It is a program where veterans work
with wounded veterans using horses in their
rehabilitation training. He is also a transplant pilot
assigned to a patient through the Mercy Flight
