ROSEWOOD BEACH Rosewood Rentals Come celebrate a special occasion or just grill out on the beach. A picnic area with a grill will be reserved for your group. Parking restrictions are in effect, host will receive up to 10 parking passes valid for the day of the event. Parking passes will allow parking only at the upper Rosewood Park lot (City police patrol and check for valid permit holders). Rentals will be unavailable on holidays. Rental Fees Picnic area with grill Up to 20 people, area contains 1 charcoal grill and two picnic tables for 2 hours $45 nonrefundable rental fee Available Dates Mon-Fri, 3:30-5:30pm Jun 13-Aug 21 (excluding Holidays) Sat-Sun, 11:30am-1:30pm or 3:30-5:30pm Jun 13-Aug 21, Aug 27-28 (excluding Holidays) Registration Information & Fees Registration must be made in-person at least 10 days prior to the picnic date to secure a permit. Open reservations start Monday, April 18. Daily damage deposit is $50. Parking restrictions/limits, Park District programs/events, and type of use are taken into consideration for permit approvals. Registration will be taken at the following: April 1-May 27 Centennial Ice Arena Mon-Fri 9am-5pm May 28-Sep 5 Hidden Creek AquaPark Daily, 6am-7pm The one-of-a-kind Rosewood Beach Interpretive Center celebrates our great Lake Michigan and its shoreline. The center hosts a variety of ecological and nature programs for day camps, local schools, and the general public. Casual visitors can also enjoy interpretive signage throughout the site illustrating Rosewood’s restoration efforts in progress and the fascinating lakefront ecological system.
