Online registration is now available for all Recreation Center
swimming programs (except drop-in).
There will no longer be priority registration for returning students
or residents.
See page 94 for the skill-based program policy.
Fall Registration
1. Online beginning Wed Jul 20, at 7am for both residents
and nonresidents at registration.pdhp.org. [Immediate
Confirmation]
2. In-Person at the Recreation Center of Highland Park or
West Ridge Center beginning Wed Jul 20 at 7am for both
residents and nonresidents. In-person registration is offered
at the Recreation Center of Highland Park 7am-7pm, 7 days
a week.
3. Drop-off* at the Recreation Center of Highland Park
beginning Wed Jul 20 or both residents and nonresidents.
During regular desk hours. Cash or check only.

Practice
All Learn-to-Swim school students are encouraged to swim
outside of class times. Learn-to-Swim Practice/Family Swim
hours are free to children and their guardians currently enrolled
in our swim school.

Group Swim Training
[Adults]
Geared towards triathletes and competitive swimmers.
Led by an experienced on-deck coach. Integrates interval
training and stroke technique in a group setting.

Parent & Tot Water Orientation
[Ages 6 months-3 years]
Helps babies and toddlers develop swimming readiness. One
parent or caregiver must accompany each child in the water.
Children who are not toilet-trained must wear a swim diaper and
tight-fitting pants over diaper (no disposable or cloth diapers).
