Character Counts!
The Park District of Highland Park, along with other
community leaders and organizations, is proud to
be a part of Character Counts!, a program teaching
children the six pillars of character: Citizenship,
Caring, Fairness, Respect, Responsibility and Trustworthiness.
Children are 27% of our population but 100% of the future. The
direction they go depends on us. The Park District of Highland
Park wants to help build the character of the next generation!

Senior Citizen Discount
Resident seniors, 65 and over, are entitled to 15% off the
regular registration fee for recreation programs and must
show their ID. This does not include excursions, contractual
programs, activities at special facilities or special workshops
and events.

on the registration form if you would like information regarding

for and request for reasonable modification(s) according to the

The Park District of Highland Park provides recreational
opportunities for all residents of Highland Park. People with and
without disabilities are encouraged and invited to register for all
Park District of Highland Park programs of interest. People with

Military Discount
Active servicemen and women and their immediate families
receive resident rates plus an additional 15% discount on Park
District of Highland Park programs, memberships, and daily fees,
excluding select contractual programs. Register in person with
proof of active service to receive the reduced rate.

Whether you are planning a one-day service event for a
school or business, want to join our natural areas restoration
days, or seek a longer-term commitment by coaching one
of our youth sports programs, we offer tools, expertise and
support to make your volunteer experience fulfilling.
