SAND TRACKERS
Embark on a summer adventure along
the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan.
Along with swimming and playing in
the sand, Sand Trackers will
learn about and develop an
appreciation for this valuable
fresh water resource.

Activities
A love for the beach and water is a must
for this camp as days are spent exploring
and combing the shore for treasure.
A new theme will be highlighted each
week, such as:
• Wonders of Water,
• Treasures of the Beach and
• Animals of the Lake, to name a few.
Campers play games, go on treasure
hunts, conduct experiments and get
creative with crafts, all reflecting the
theme of the week.
A special celebration day such as
“Hawaiian Day” or “Pirate Day” takes
place each week. Field trips each session
add to the summer fun.
Your child will enjoy instructional introto-swim lessons at the indoor pool at
Recreation Center of Highland Park.
We highly recommend you supplement
the introductory lessons with a swim
class offered through Recreation Center
of Highland Park.
