early childhood & kindergarten section head CAMP SUNSHINE & MORE CAMP SUNSHINE Ages 3-5 The perfect “first camp” opportunity Campers will follow a schedule of 30-45 minutes activities throughout their day. Activities are designed to encourage exploration, socialization, confidence, and memories of a funfilled summer! A Day in the Life at Camp Activities include: • Field trips to Centennial Ice Arena, Heller Nature Center, Hidden Creek AquaPark, local parks, Rosewood Beach, Recreation Center of Highland Park, Sunset Woods Park, and more! • Visit from professional en tertainers. • • All-Camp special event. Indoor/outdoor art projects, songs, and games. • Show and tell. • Swim lessons (4 and 5 year olds) at Recreation Center of Highland Park, taught by trained swim instructors. Campers are grouped based on ability.) • Lunch time (brought from home). Check your mailbox for Parent and Camper Manual 6pm Parent meeting TBA Parent Party (You will receive an invitation.) Staff Energetic, creative, and friendly Directors and Counselors have specific experience and a desire to provide an unforgettable summer for your camper! Registration & Camp Groups Friendship requests are not needed; camp groups are based on age and the registration code. Camp groups min/max: 8/18 campers. Groups may be combined or cancelled based on registration. You will be notified of changes by May 15. 3 and 4 year old Campers must be the correct age by the start date of camp. No exceptions. Campers signing up for the 5-year-old group must be 5 by Sep 1, 2016. Campers are encouraged to be potty trained by the start date, however, any camper interested in participating is welcome!
