ABOUT TTO Özyeğin University’s Technology Transfer Office (ÖzÜ TTO) is responsible for managing the research portfolio and intellectual property assets of Özyeğin University (ÖzÜ). The mission of ÖzÜ TTO is to promote the transfer of Özyeğin technology for society’s use and benefit. To achieve this goal, ÖzÜ TTO works and cooperates with all stakeholders (i.e, researchers, faculty members, students, industry, entrepreneurs, funding agencies and other TTOs) of the innovation ecosystem.  • Manages the projects at the post-award phase • Manages patent application process and intellectual property (IP) portfolio of the university • Commercializes the technologies available for licensing • Trains about funding opportunities, IP management, and commercialization HOW CAN WE HELP YOU? ÖzÜ TTO’s mission is to encourage innovation, manage ÖzÜ’s research portfolio and commercialize technologies developed at ÖzÜ. ÖzÜ TTO can cooperate with the researchers, industry, entrepreneurs, and/or funding agency and provides following services: For Faculty / Researchers Creating Knowledge and Technology • Offers guidance for finding funds and calls for research based on the field of interest and expertise, and periodically sharing information about current funds and facilities • rovides support for the preparation and submission of grant applications P • versees the contract process on behalf of the faculty member following the project approval O • onducts administrative and financial follow-ups for projects, undertaking reporting, contract revisions C and auditing to take bureaucratic workload off the shoulders of the faculty after the contract is awarded • ollows up on research outputs, evaluating the resulting intellectual property rights, overseeing patent F and licensing application processes, and determines appropriate strategies for commercialization • ncreases the number of student and faculty start-ups and spin-offs launched in the Incubation Center I
