The site of the April 14, 1865, assassination of President Abraham
Lincoln, Ford’s Theatre is a working theatre, historical monument, worldclass museum and learning center.
Daytime Visits
A visit to the Ford’s Theatre campus traces the story of Abraham Lincoln’s
presidency, assassination and legacy. The campus includes the museum,
theatre, Petersen House (the house where Lincoln died) and the Center for
Education and Leadership. The campus is open for visits during the day.
Tickets are required. Admission is free; advance tickets have a convenience fee.
Performance Tickets
Tickets are $15-$95 with discounts for groups, seniors, military and those
younger than 35. There is a $2 restoration fee charged per ticket.
Groups
Groups (15 or more) and tour operators receive ticket discounts, have priority
access to the best seats in the house, and receive flexible payment terms.

Directions
The closest metro stations are Metro Center (serving the Red, Blue, Orange
and Silver lines) and Gallery Place (serving the Red, Yellow and Green lines).
