Programming for April 14, 2015 Site opens for first entry at 9 a.m. Last entry is at 11 p.m. Visitors can choose to: explore the Ford's Theatre Museum; hear a ranger talk, watch a performance of the one-act play One Destiny or enjoy a self-guided tour in the Theatre; or visit the Petersen House and exhibitions at the Center for Education and Leadership. Ford's will also offer guided tours of the theatre at select times. The Lincoln Tribute Panel Discussion—12:30 p.m. entry This free discussion focuses on the 150-year legacy of Abraham Lincoln and the beginning of Nelson Mandela’s legacy. Investigation: Detective McDevitt Join Detective McDevitt for a first-hand look at the investigation into the Lincoln Assassination Conspiracy and the events of April 14 and 15, 1865. Led by an actor in costume, this walking tour starts outside of Ford’s Theatre and explores sites in downtown Washington related to Lincoln, the assassination and the Civil War. Tour times vary.
