RED Digital Cinema has created it’s most intuitive camera to date with the introduction of the smallest and incredibly lightweight RED BRAIN ever in WEAPON. The simplicity of the WEAPON allows operators to completely customize their rigs and streamlines the peripheral integration 10fold. The brain of the WEAPON is the 19 megapixal RED DRAGON sensor which can capture 6K motion and stills at up to 100 frames per second. What makes this unique is that the redesign enables automatic black shade calibrations, improved low light sensor performance, and implement a new intelligent OLPF system. WEAPON BRAINs are also equipped to support 1D and 3D LUTs—giving colorists and post-production teams more control than ever before and let’s not forget that the simultaneous recording of Apple ProRes and REDCODE RAW is “money in the bank”.
