ANNOUNCEMENTS

Timecode Systems Shipping :mini trx+ with B:LINK compatibility

Timecode Systems, Ltd., announced today it is now shipping the :mini trx+ with B:LINK compatibility. The release also includes several upgrades and improve performance and provide additional mounting options.

“We originally created the super-compact :mini trx as a smaller alternative to the award-winning :wifi master, and now we’ve improved it further by adding some great new features, as well as B:LINK compatibility,” said Adam Parr, global sales director at Timecode Systems. “Now, in addition to providing super-accurate timecode, genlock, and word clock, it allows users to leverage the built-in B:LINK RF network to monitor status and control remotely. There is nothing else on the market that offers these features, and certainly not in a product of this diminutive size.”

Timecode Systems' proprietary B:LINK RF network protocol maintains the same accurate wireless sync over the sub_GHz ISM bands and adds enhanced two-way multiplexed status/control from the :mini trx+, acting as a slave device back to a B:LINK master like the Timecode Systems :wave. The :wave's wi-fi network allows a user to view the status and control settings of the :mini trx+ from third-party applications like MovieSlate 8 and Timecode Budd :app.

IBC Big Screen Saturday Movie: 'Fantastic Four' in Dolby Atmos and Christie 6p laser projection 18:30 to 21:00 Auditorium

IBC is offering, free to all IBC attendees, a presentation featuring Dolby Atmos, the next generation immersive audio system from Dolby Laboratories, using the 40+ QSC loudspeaker system specially installed in the RAI Auditorium.

From director, Josh Tank, Fantastic Four is a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's original and longest-running superhero team. The action centres on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe that alters their physical form in shocking ways. Reed Richards (Miles Teller) becomes Mr. Fantastic, able to stretch and twist his body at will, while pal Ben Grimm gains immense strength as the Thing.

Johnny Storm becomes the Human Torch, able to control and project fire, while his sister Sue becomes the Invisible Woman. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from former friend-turned-enemy Doctor Doom.

Also featuring 6p laser projection from Christie on a matte white Harkness screen, this screening will prove to be a feast for your eyes as well as for your ears. IBC acknowledges the generous support of 20th Century Fox for enabling this screening for IBC attendees.
