With the FORK’s MAM (Media Asset Management) and automation, meta-data and products are provided the means of seamless integration allowing users an ever-expanding palette upon which to customize their particular production requirements. The software and hardware that comprise FORK 4.6 increases the dynamic range of the suite and makes it all the more likely that its usefulness will cause the product’s worldwide spread to expand beyond the 37 countries that currently utilize this product. Accurate, fast, seamless and accommodating to adaptations - it’s not something the competition can easily fork with (ahem).

Primestream’s Xchange, now on its suite v3, is another tool that FORK can utilize to further expand its versatility and worth. Immediate access to clips and content allows for analyzation, filtration and management of data resources from the FORK production server, as well as the ability to directly execute commands to that server. Manipulation of content is fast and accurate, and can be handled remotely, thanks to web access via a PC or IOS device. This product also includes an HTML 5 media player among several other features.

The FORK MAM uses a series of “smart folders” to manage, handle, and store all the raw and Meta-data this innovative product suite utilizes. The Content Driver provides a powerful tool for optimum workflow. The internal configuration of the Smart Bin System is designed for/with the TV network/station staff in mind to empower them to utilize and control the metadata to promote creativity while insuring ease of function. With the MAM, asset management is just that; multiple aspects of this technology can be in use simultaneously by multiple users. It can playback while also editing and recording.
