Post|Production World (P|PW) at the NAB 2015 Show in Las Vegas offers something for everyone involved in content creation. 150 training sessions, four multi-day training classes, three field trips and a learning and networking area ensure that you will come away with exciting new ideas and improved skills.

The Post|Production Main Course Offerings are divided into three categories: Production and Post Production, Motion Graphics and VFX, and Digital Distribution. This technical training program is produced by Future Media Concepts and offers a wide variety of courses for digital media professionals.

The Main Course Offerings offer training at every level, from the novice to seasoned professional. Production boot camps include working with GoPro cameras and associated software. Post-Production boot camp courses include training on Adobe Premier Pro, Black Magic DaVinci Resolve, Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Speed Grade and others. Full day courses will be offered, including “Shooting and Lighting Interviews,” and “Color Correction and Grading.”

The Motion Graphics and VFX track offers several courses in mastering Adobe After Effects, including compositing techniques, time-based effects and navigating 3D space. The Digital Distribution track offers a wide range of social media and publishing courses. Learn expert tips on how to write for the web, where to host and sell your content and how to produce live events and webcasts. A full day social media symposium will offer best practices from top experts in online audience engagement.

Two multi-day prep classes are offered with the opportunity to take certification exams afterwards. These certifications help professionals differentiate themselves and increase their value in the marketplace. The first course, “Avid Media Composer Certification Prep Class and Exam” is offered Saturday, April 11th and runs through Monday, April 13, with exams MC101 & 110 being offered on April 14th. The second course, “Apple Final Cut Pro Certification and Prep Class,” is runs Monday, April 13 thorough Tuesday, April 14, with the exam offered on April 15.

Authorized training courses are offered for Adobe After Effects CC (April 11-12) and Adobe Premier Pro CC for Experienced Editors (April 14-15). These two courses require separate registration.

Join women from the world of broadcasting on Monday, April 13 at the mixer and discussion, “Working Together to Close the Gender Gap in Post Production.” This discussion explores the gender gap in technical roles and outlines strategies to increase women’s numbers in the industry.

Field trips are offered as an add-on (requiring separate registration). On April 10th, the “Night Sky Time Lapse” field trip offers a great opportunity to learn new techniques for day
