Starting to laugh, by what she hears; she’s just waiting to give him the grand stand. Asking himself what he’s got himself in to, Rick is still not making it easy for him. Still laughing by the situation, he promises to help his brother. Still trying not to cause a scene, he still tries to reason with her. Not trying to hear what he has to say, she hangs up the phone on him again. Sitting there looking at the house which once stood, he sees a note on the floorboard. Picking it up, to see what it says; he still can’t believe this is happening. Yanking the note from his hands, Rick can’t believe what it says.
“Please don’t read it out loud. I don’t want to know this is really happening.”
Ignoring his wishes, Rick reads the note anyways.
“I told you I would get you, but you thought this was a game. Now we’re playing pettilicious’s game. You don’t know me like you thought, and that’s why your house is sitting on rocks. You can go on and live your life, but you will think twice.”
Wanting to cry, Leo gains his composure. I guess this is what happens when you mess with a Virgo.
