Catchment Area
We accept students from most of Greater London , and some parts of Kent and Surrey . Catchment postcodes are on p . 42 or visit www . brit . croydon . sch . uk for a full list . We are allowed to take 10 % of applicants from outside this area , but only if you show exceptional merit throughout each stage of the application process . We take proof of your address to show you are in catchment at the point of application , not the address you may move to if you are offered a place .
We do have a list of local residents who offer rooms to be let , but parents / carers must take responsibility for the accommodation being satisfactory and make sure that the day-to-day support for the student is in place . This applies to Post 16 students only as we will not accept applications for Key Stage 4 if the applicant will need to live independently . Please note The BRIT School does not vet these landlords .
