We believe that young people of all backgrounds should be able to develop their creative talent and craft and make a powerful contribution to society . The world needs creativity and the creative industries more than ever before ; digital solutions , imaginative ideas , art , entertainment . It needs polymaths who value science , history , maths and art all at the same time . And it needs a more inclusive society where everyone matters and being yourself is celebrated .
For over 30 years , The BRIT School has successfully nurtured creative skills in students from every type of background , alongside providing a robust and full academic curriculum to be the person they want to be . If you choose to come here , we will give you the tools , skills , knowledge , training and industry opportunities to build a path to your future .
Nearly 100 % of all graduating students find work in a huge range of creative industries , or enrol for higher education .
This is a playground with professional boundaries where the raw talent of 14 – 19 year olds is nurtured by experienced world-class teachers . There are five qualities we want our students to take on when they come here : originality , responsibility , ambition , inclusivity and kindness . This means you will find your space here to unlock your creative potential , be your own person , be kind and act responsibly to others and yourself , and you will be accepting of the diverse community of artists you will work with every day . The student voice is strong here and we want to hear yours . You can participate in assemblies including Black History , Neurodiversity and LGBTQ + as well as Global Majority celebrations , the annual Drag Show and the Ethics , Beliefs and Culture Festival .

From marching at Pride and working on a community project to joining in World Book Day and Black History celebrations , students are actively encouraged to participate in all aspects of BRIT Life .
There are industry standard facilities in our studios , classrooms and theatres thanks to , amongst many , but specifically Andrew Lloyd Webber , The Utley Foundation , YouTube Music , Burberry , Netflix , Tim Cook at Apple and the Arts Council , who have worked to support this School . We have an impressive Board of Trustees and an active BRIT Parent Community .
