A N NUA L CHAR IT Y GOLF DAY Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa, Bedfordshire, Thursday 29 June 2017 British Water and Water Active are delighted to announce the 2017 Charity Golf Day will take place at Luton Hoo Hotel, Golf and Spa, Bedfordshire on Thursday 29 June 2017. Now firmly established in the industry calendar this is a day to enjoy a challenging round of golf followed by a networking dinner and prize-giving. Open to all British Water members, non-members and their guests, the day is very much an occasion to enjoy good company and to raise money for charity. The Golf Day includes: • Breakfast • 18 holes of Championship Golf • 3 Course Dinner with Wine • Trophies, Prizes and a Raffle We are pleased to announce that this years’ Golf Day is jointly in support of: Adding a good helping of competition to the day, the tournament will be played in teams of four. You can also choose to enter smaller numbers and make a team with other participants. WaterAid – an International charity, which provides safe water to the world’s poorest people, whilst raising the fact that 2.5 billion people in the world do not have access to adequate sanitation and hygiene education. All levels of players are welcome – we range from surprisingly good to simply awful! Water for Kids – in 20 years Water for Kids has transformed the lives of over 390,000 people. Water for Kids have provided water, sanitation and hygiene education to 154 communities in nine countries. 72 In 20 years Water for Kids have developed from humble beginnings to become a well-established charity respected for our vision and hard work. Water for Kids have raised over half a million pounds in the last 10 years and these days, 86 pence in every pound goes directly to provide water and sanitation to those in need.
