INTER NATIONA L FORUM
The 2016 international online survey has highlighted
that members and non-members want British Water
to primarily focus on providing information on
forthcoming projects; access to international buyers;
networking opportunities and market intelligence. The
International Forum will therefore continue to deliver
its three core services of providing:
Direct Market Access

Events
• The annual international networking reception
• Conferences – e.g. securing speaking slots and
discounted rates for members
• Exhibitions – providing companies with access
to funding towards stand space and construction
costs
• Networking meetings in the UK
• Brokerage – facilitating introductions to buyers
Knowledge Exchange and
Information through:
• The British Water Cascade and Events newsletters
and website
• Signposting – to potential business partners and leads
• Study tours – working in collaboration with
overseas water partnerships and clusters
The survey indicated that our companies are
particularly interested in developing business in China,
Canada, Germany, India, Italy, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi
Arabia, Spain and the USA.
British Water will continue to work with the supply chain
to offer support in these markets and others where it
can add the most value and help break down barriers
to exporting. To get involved in the international
