Oxford Tutorial Style
British Studies at Oxford
Courses are taught in the
traditional Oxford Tutorial
style, with a Professor meet-
ing with a small (2-5) group
of students not to lecture, but
to hold intellectually stimu-
lating one-on-one conversa-
tions about the material.
Classes meet for about 2
hours, Monday through
Thursday.
There are also numerous
excursions in Oxford and to
London and other relevant
day-trip destinations which
also relate to and expand
upon the course material.

We meet, eat, and sleep in an
actual Oxford College. So,
essentially, you will be living
and learning in much the
same way that University of
Oxford students do!
