Established in 2013, Pragmatic Consulting is an accredited training provider supporting businesses across the construction, utilities and infrastructure sectors. Founded by Managing Director Jo Niblett, who brings more than 20 years’ industry experience, the company has built its reputation on practical, relevant training delivered by people who understand the environments in which delegates actually work.
Construction is a key focus for Pragmatic, with a growing portfolio of CITB Site Safety Plus courses including SMSTS, SSSTS, Health & Safety Awareness, Temporary Works and Environmental Awareness. Alongside these, the company provides essential health and safety and practical training, including City & Guilds Confined Space, first aid, manual handling and electrical courses.
The aim is not simply to provide delegates with another certificate. Pragmatic believes effective training should build genuine competence and confidence, giving people the knowledge and practical understanding to make safer decisions when they return to site.
That practical approach is backed by more than a decade of experience supporting high-risk industries. Pragmatic’ s
established expertise in utilities and infrastructure includes EUSR SHEA, National Water Hygiene, Safe Control of Operations( SCO), National Grid and Thames Water training. This experience brings an additional depth of operational understanding to its construction training.
Training can be delivered at Pragmatic’ s training centres, online or at customers’ own sites, with flexible options available for individual delegates, larger teams and bespoke requirements. The company currently operates training centres in Warwickshire, Trafford Park and South Wales, alongside nationwide on-site delivery.
