My 3 year old always seems to misbehave when we are shopping and when I don ’ t buy her what she wants , she starts to throw a tantrum . This is very embarrassing . What can I do to stop this ?
The method I always tell my clients and I believe is most effective ( remember , every child is different ) is : 1- Say No and explain why . 2- Ask them to behave and stop acting silly . 3- They continue misbehaving and then tell them the consequences and start counting to 3 . 4- They stop . This method usually always works for my clients . The kids know the process and the result . So my final answer would be CONSISTENCY .
