Things To Do When Dying Abbey Smith Make your decisions quickly. Do not dwell on your choices. Things are easier when you are clean and well rested. Take that time. The night sky is no home. Nothing is infinite. Not even loss. Stop mistaking the satellites in the sky for stars. Stop wishing on satellites. Stop wishing on stars. Stop looking for signs. Good or bad. Trust yourself enough that you do not need to trust signs that come from things you cannot control. Stop writing depressing poems all the time. Try writing a nice poem. Do whatever makes you happy. Lie down in the grass for a while. The earth will talk to you if you listen. Do not waste this gift of life by doing anything that you do not wholeheartedly love. Forget. Forget the people that cut you up. Look at others without apprehension. Instead, with love. Embrace them. Do not question it. 6
