LR: No. I very much wanted to just
see where it went. My initial aim
was to share the images depicted
in these slides as well as the
objects themselves for as long as I
find it interesting. I have no
shortage of slides and I am still
finding it interesting. So roll on
2014.
up a slide which depicted an icon
of Jesus and I was a bit worried he
was going to want to talk God, but
it turned out he just loved slides
and had fond memories of family
slide shows.
BRLG: Do you ever receive
feedback, or witness people
interacting with your instalments?
LR: Yes, I am enjoying it – the
ritual of taking my bus home,
choosing a slide, sticking it up and
trying to get a good snap or two
while the bus holds still is a
challenge as I try to keep it fresh.
BRLG: Are you satisfied with how
the project has run?
LR: I get a fair few looks and
occasionally people talk to me and
they have been friendly and
interested. Once someone started
talking to me when I was sticking
