That encourages early reading, facilitate analytical skills for learning and implement evidenced- based practices that support the growth and development of young children. Promotes best practices for children and families, in early care and education. In other related sectors, such as youth development, family support and children welfare through facilitation of model programs, seminars, research, publications and online information sharing. Strengthens organizations impact and effectiveness, through inter-disciplinary capacity building, technical assistance, program development services and consultation. offers positive reinforcement and promotes family involvement through book rotation where children rotate books between school and home and enjoy read-a-louds in a classroom and collaborative reading time with their parents and family. inspires, motivates and creates mentorship opportunities through guest speakers and mentors such as authors, artists, storytellers and TT Pro- Leaguers to read-a-loud and engage in motivating fun filled discussions on literacy and reading. supports families through capacity building workshops on parenting school-aged children links and integrates community support through mentors; and partners with the business community to provide incentives and resources for Read to Rise.
