The designer wanted the furnishings to embrace a past-meetspresent sensibility as well. Enter York Street Studio, a Washington,
Connecticut-based design company whose president, Stephen
Piscuskas, formed a fast collaboration with Susan.
“Susan has a keen eye that’s refreshing and challenging,” Stephen
says. Adds Susan, who commissioned more than two dozen pieces
from York Street Studio: “we ended up inspiring each other.”
