erge de Troyer has
modelled around the world
for, among others, Versace,
Valentino, Vivien Westwood

as opposed to simply pure
aesthetic theory. This has given
him a deep appreciation of
the mechanical properties and
limits of raw materials.

He understands cutting edge
sense of style that he brings to
his craft as a furniture designer.
He lives in Miami where
he simultaneously maintains
growing interior design and
furniture design businesses.
Schooled in a rigorous seven
year interior design course at
the prestigious art academy of
Saint Laurentius in Lokeren,
Belgium, he is steeped in a
tradition which stresses the
priority of the craft of plastic
arts, and the manipulation of
media as productive expression,

allowed him to indulge his love
for architecture and culture and
infused in all of his furniture
pieces.
He launched his Serge de
Troyer Collection in 2009
bringing to life his designs
which are a mix of personalised
past glamour.
Each piece is meticulously
materials as well as unusual
materials such as parchment,
Lucite, crocodile leather,
shagreen, couture silks, bone
and horn.
