I am a young lady aged 24 and I have been seeing a 28 year old gentleman. We met on a night out , had fun and enjoyed eachothers company. He has been taking me out for a while and said he lived alone so recently I visited his house after a night out. To my dissapointment, I found ladies clothes and shoes in his house. When I asked about them he said they belonged to his ex who had left but refuses to collect her belongings. I know it is naive of me to believe but I really like this guy. What should I do?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, especially since you are in love with this gentleman but love is not meant to be blind despite of the famouse saying that it is.
It is easy to fall in love with someone who's company you enjoy and spend time with but it is also important to guard your heart from possible heartbreak when you can.
Your friend would have mentioned the existance of this ex prior to your finding her clothes and shoes in his house. As a lady I am sure you wouldn't have your clothes left at an ex boyfriend's house after you split up.
Unfortunately, I do not believe that the said Ex is actually an Ex and to save yourself the heartache of finding that out much later I would advise you to re-think that relationship.
